Hamburg IP Chairman resigns!

That’s right folks, I resigned as Chairman of the Hamburg IP. Several weeks ago I was asked to sit as Chairman to the Hamburg IP by Anthony Orsini and I accepted on behalf of all the hard working reform minded members of our town party. A Patriot, Dennis Bigaj, Passed Away on Saturday

Saturday was a day we will all morn. If any of you knew Dennis Bigaj, you knew a true Patriot. Dennis passed away at his cabin property in Southern NYS and he will be missed terribly. Jack Quinn Jr. Snubbed by Gaughan and her Crew!

Hamburg First has learned that the Erie County Independence Party Executive Committee met and held its local endorsement meeting tonight. I’m told that Mary Rose Gaughan wanted to give a local Democrat the IP endorsement for the 146th Assembly District even though Jack Quinn Jr. has received the IP endorsement in the past and has been a loyal supporter of our Independence Party. Hamburg IP is Finally Constituted!

This past weekend Anthony Orsini has officially named me as Chairman of the Town of Hamburg Independence Party. It has been a long three years getting to this point but was well worth the effort. Orsini had name Mary Rose Gaughan Chairwomen of a town search and selection committee in May of 07 but since then decided that she was not the person he would like to see lead the town party in the future. I have had some major differences with Orsini over the years but it seems he has finally seen the light as far as Hamburg goes. Read the rest of this entry »
