What Would You Change In Hamburg?

This new year will bring a hole bunch of local elected seats up for grabs. The Supervisors seat, two other Council seats, a Town Justice, Town Clerk and the Highway Superintendent. What a line up for some fun and shenanigans for those of us who want to make the machine scramble and worry!

Should Towns be able to charge extra for services?

Once again I went into the town hall today to file a FOIL request and pay for some items I FIOLed previously. I had to ultimately cut in half what I requested and wanted because the town has an ordinance that it will charge twenty five cents per paper copy for information.

HMHA Update

I have received a lot of inquiries into the story about HMHA and the on-goings in that organization. Some of the parents in that organization are asking me very specific questions about the allegations by Gary Klump.

True HMHA Story

Several years ago I was an assistant coach with HMHA. My son Timothy had been playing hockey with the organization for several years and I decided to try and get involved. Mainly because the coaches they had were just plain ol’ dads who had never played the game and several didn’t even know how to ice skate.

Is the Hamburg Municipal Hockey Association Cold as Ice?

I recently received communication from a former HMHA Board Member about his concerns on how the HMHA is running its organization. It seems all is not well with this organization that contracts with the Town of Hamburg for its recreation facility ice time.

Hamburg Town Council Unanimous, 0% Tax Increase for 2009!

Walters did it again and kept his promise. No tax increase at least from the Town of Hamburg in 2009! that doesn’t mean the school boards will follow suit. They, in fact, will most likely raise your taxes again and then the county and state will almost certainly raise your taxes. God help us all if the communist named OBAMA gets elected!
