Yes! It’s finally over folks, Orsini is out! Tonight at the Winchester Fire Hall on Harlem Rd. in West Seneca the Independence Party held its reorganization meeting and Sandra Rosenswie was nominated and elected Chairwoman of the Erie County Independence Party.
It was pretty tight getting a quorum for the meeting. We apparently needed 462 people to show up in person or by proxy and we ended up with 451 proxies and 20 people present in person. Just barely enough for a legal meeting to take place. Other than that it was a very short meeting. Nominations were made and seconded and I think the whole meeting took about 20 minutes at best.
It’s a new day for this party and all are welcome to join us to make this party better. Many prominent members decided to try and stifle the vote by not attending and keeping their people from signing proxies for a quorum. In the end it didn’t work and now those people will be on the outside looking in instead of calling the shots like the past.
Congratulations to all who helped free this party from the grasp of Tony Orsini! Free at last!

I heard Mary Rose and Dennis Gaughan are done with politics.
Ford, that is news to me. I thought Dennis was going to run for town supervisor of Hamburg? Can you conduct an interview with this WNY power couple and get the true story?
Bob McCarthy is on vacation until after the new year. Get the scoop Ford!
Is Ricky Donovan the same as the Erie County Under-Sheriff?
