Their is absolutely no way to prove Andrea Glinski was driving drunk when she ran down two young woman a couple weeks ago and hid the car in Hamburg. But this one smells like it was drinking and driving to me.
Hey, if you want a drink..Get one and let someone else who is sober drive you home! What is so hard about that? Or at least drink yourself into a stupor at home to begin with. This is absolutely nuts if you ask me! First Duffy, then this incident and who is next? Who is the next victim of some drunken idiot that didn’t have the common sense to not drink and drive?
Why in the world didn’t her boyfreind call it in? Now he is probably going to face charges as well. Someone please stop the lunacy.
Then to top it all off, the damn car was found on South Park Ave, just at the end of my street, across from the Big tree Fire Hall! It infuriates me because this really could have been any one of the kids in my neighborhood. Thank god it wasn’t. It’s terrible that two more families are going through hell because of this sheer stupidity.
I actually felt a little sympathy for Duffy because I thought this could happen to anyone. In Hamburg we haven’t had a lot of this stuff, I now realise that I was being blind to the reality that this crime is very severe. For that I apologise to the family of Duffy’s victim, Meghan Sorbera. I know that DWI is an ongoing problem, but we almost never have a case involving a fatal DWI accident in Hamburg.
Side Note: Not to be funny about any of this, but in the case of DWI Homicides, maybe we should call the incident – on purpose- instead of an accident.
It doesn’t seem to me to be an accident that someone put alcohol into their bodily system. It doesn’t seem to be an accident that that same person made a decision to drink and drive, and it most certainly isn’t an accident that they didn’t stop or call the emergency services to try and help the people who were hurt and killed by their actions.
One vehicular Homicide and another that could turn into one. One definitely from a DWI and the other still in question. I say it’s time to make an example and throw the book and everything else in the room at her. Andrea Glinski and all the rest of you drunks out there, stay the hell out of the car and stay the hell out of our beautiful Town of Hamburg while you’re at at.
God Bless the families of Amy Stewart and Rachel Baird. We all pray for your recovery and hope it will be soon. Wake up Amy, don’t let this unapologetic bitch beat you down.
