Erie County Independence Party Installation/Fundraiser set for April 9th

22 03 2009

The installation of Erie County Independence Party Chairperson Sandy Rosenswie and other officers of the Erie County Independence Party will take place, Thursday, April 9, from 6-8 pm at Kronie’s Bar and Grill, 2692 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. The charge is $50 per person and includes food and drinks. Checks can be sent to: Erie County Independence Party, PO Box 1131, Buffalo, NY 14225.

For those of  you who are being told to stay away by Anthony Orsini or any of his associates or risk losing an endorsement, all I have to say is this. Orsini at this point has no authority to issue endorsements to anyone. The Erie County Independence Party Executive Board will make all endorsements for the IP this year. Should Orsini and the State IP try to make an endorsement in Erie County, they will be met with a lawsuit to stop their illegal intrusion immediately.

To this point they have lost every battle, in court and otherwise. To follow their lead would be disastrous for any politician or candidate wishing to run on our line this year. I am not by any means saying that attendance is required to get an endorsement. Not at all. We are operating with honor and this is the new IP that doesn’t follow the example set by Mr. Orsini over the last 8 years.

However, we do greatly appreciate those who stand with us and wish to honor us with your presence at our Installation Party. We need the money to open an office that the Erie County Independence Party has never had before. All Independence Party Elected Committee members are being allowed admittance for a reduced fee of twenty dollars.

Side Note: All candidates for political office and interested in an endorsement by the Erie County Independence Party are to send a request in writing along with any supporting information for the position they are running for, to the County Chairwoman Sandra Rosenswie. Her address is Erie County Independence Party, PO Box 1131, Buffalo, NY 14225.  The request will then be forwarded to the appropriate review committee to conduct interviews and make a final recommendation to the County Executive Board for approval.
