Hamburg Demon-crats Ready to Make Endorsements for 2009!

8 05 2009

Hamburg First has learned that the Hamburg Demon-cratic Party has met and decided on it’s endorsements for offices up on election this November. Even though the endorsements will be made on May 13th, it is being reported by sources inside the party, that many members are upset and have announced, or are close to announcing their intent to Primary the endorsements. I am told the Demon-cratic Party leaders have met and decided on the following endorsements. Now it’s up to the full town committee to follow through on the endorsements.

The Demon-crats are expected to endorse John Gorman, Confidential Law Clerk to Demon-cratic NYS Supreme Court Judge Gerald Whelan, for Town Council. Also being Endorsed for Town council are Hamburg Lawyer Joe Collins, and Engineer Lenny Kowalski.  Mr. Kowalski unsuccessfully ran against Jack Quinn III for his seat in the NYS Assembly last year.

Demon-cratic members who are being reported as intending to primary the reported anticipated endorsements are Blasdell Mayor Ernie Jewitt, Buffalo Fireman Vinny Gugliuzza, and Consultant Ted Casey. As you may remember, Vinny Gugliuzza lost the Town Council race two years ago.

The Demon-crats also are expected to endorse Patty Michalek for Hamburg Town Supervisor. She happens to be the wife of Demon-cratic NYS Supreme Court Judge John Michalek. She supposedly is a Principal at St. Mary’s High School and people are reporting that she is in consideration for appointment as a Principal at the Hopevale in Hamburg. It is also being reported that Hopevale is run by NYS Senator Billy Stachowski’s wife. My how the patronage flies in WNY!

It is expected that Hamburg Lawyer Dennis Gaughan will Primary Patty for the position on the November ballot as well.

Let the games begin!!

FYI

Ernie Jewett is still the Mayor of Blasdell and is going to run in a primary.

Ernie Jewett has a solid record as Blasdell Mayor.

He has earned the right to move up! Tom Best is not a

bad guy to have on your side !

Whose side is Tom Best on?

Haha. And you thought the Republicans were in disarray. Gorman is a good pick for the two year seat, but running the same year as his father could either help or hurt him. Collins has money for a campaign, but won’t work. Kowalski got less votes in his bid for State Assembly against Jack Quinn than Max Tresmond did the previous election. Michalek, oh Michalek. Does she really want to rehash the St Marys debacle? And Jewett? Is he delusional? This isn’t a fistfight at Todaras, its an election. My bet: Gorman, Collins, and Casey are on the ballot with Gaughan in November. Walters wins Supervisor easily, Gorman gets two year seat, Bellissimo and Wittmeyer get four years.

As Yogi Berra used to say:

When you get to the fork in the road take it.

Jim Sorrentino is a @#$%^(*nit wit!

I think he has a death wish. Every time in his career that he has
come to a fork in the road, he took the wrong way.

Games.Games .Games. Swarts over Gorski. John Michalek as
the sacrificial lamb against Jack Quinn. Now, Patricia
Michalek against Walters.

The discord sown with these endorsements will be felt for a
long time Vince!

You have,by your shenanigans, set the stage for a divisive
and strength tapping primary battle.

One Michalek on the ballot is ONE too MANY! Two would be
an insult to the intelligence of Hamburg voters.

Why force Ernie Jewett to primary? Gorman is a great choice.
Kowalski couldn’t get wet in a monsoon. Collins will improve
his work ethic to survive.

God #^%* it Jimmy you are smarter than this move.

Put up good candidates, who are willing to work, and let the

rank and file Democrats come home!

Put this one in your nice to know column!

Patty Michalek drives a Honda Produced Acura!

If you wanted to build a worse candidate from scratch
you couldn’t do better than Patty.

1. Supports Republicans

2. Anti-Labor

3. Drives a foreign car in a Ford town.

4. Speaks with a downstate NY accent

Don’t campaign near the Ford plant, Patty!

It’s plain to see that you are not one of us!

Four years where for Bellissimo and Wittmeyer?

You gotta be dreaming!

Gaughan will trounce Michalek.

The poor woman won’t know what hit her when she learns

what she really has to do to get elected. She has never in her

life learned to campaign. Husband John reached the bench

uncontested in the 1995 election as payback for being the

sacrificial lamb for Jack Quinn.

Patricia Michalek takes her place in line with Anti-Labor

pariahs such as Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie and Ronald

Reagan. The blunders, missteps and blatent stupidity she

exhibited at St. Mary’s School for the Deaf cast a pall over

her viability as a Supervisor candidate.

Her chances for success are SLIM and NONE. Word has it

that SLIM has already left town for Patty’s native

downstate home.

CLOSE BTVFC

Any word how much money BTVFC, and the few members they have left, is giving to the Dems? How many were at Walter’s party? The fire district is an old time Dem. strong hold, they will be pushing for the Dem’s so they will have the Dems float the loan for the new fire house just like they did with the firehouse on the town line of Orchard Park. Has anyone attempted to get them to return the tax money that they have not used and give it back to the taxpayers? Walters would be able to reduce taxes even more if they do the right thing and return the money.
