Common Sense!

11 05 2009

People! How many times, in how many ways must I say it? The Erie County IP is alive and well and we are making endorsements for all local races this year. I have been getting information that Hamburg Demon-cratic Chairman is telling people he already has garnered all the IP endorsements for his party this year.

In fact, not one of his people have requested an endorsement from the County IP Executive Board. COMMON SENSE dictates that if a candidate wants an endorsement from another political party, then that candidate should contact the local or County Chairman, of that party, for an endorsement. Running to the State IP means nothing this year. Proof, even Illuzzer is changing his story.

A month ago he was reporting that IP State Chairman, Frank McKay, would be doing all the endorsements with input only from Orsini. Now Illuzzer is reporting that McKay is listening to the County IP Chairwoman, Sandy Rosenswie, before he endorses candidates. All of Illuzzers statements are wrong!

The County IP is endorsing regardless of what Frank McKay thinks he can do. If you want an endorsement from the IP in Erie County then you better get your requests in soon or you will be out of the game quickly. We have gotten dozens of requests but there are still quite a few candidates who are scared to cross Orsini and ask us for our endorsement.

That makes no sense to me.

Politics this year in Hamburg is going to be blast. My money is on Gaughan big time.

Ford this the year for the IP !

Endorse Collins, Gorman and Jewett for council and

Dennis Gaughan for Town Supervisor.

Sorrentino ’s eyes would look like he went 12 rounds
with Rocky Marciano!

Since it’s clear Ziegler won’t get the IP, how about Ernie Jewett,
Bellissimo and Collins.

Big difference between listening and hearing Ford!

Frank may listen for input but he will make the final call.

I read what Illuzzi wrote. Other than “listening” to Sandy
there is no change. State will still make the endorsements!

Please be objective when reporting what other journalists have written!

Anyone who votes for Ernie Jewett hasnt been to Blasdell lately. The three members of “A Better Blasdell”, Petrie and the Adrian Brothers, have done more positive for the Village in two board meetings than Ernie did in 16 years as Mayor. If Jewett makes it on the ticket, I guarantee he gets less votes in Blasdell than Kowalski who just moved to Blasdell a few years ago, and even fewer than Wittmeyer who grew up there. I say Conservatives endorse Bellisimo, Gorman, and Collins and IP endorses Gorman, Collins, and Wittmeyer. Beware of the unknown, Wittmeyer might just be this year’s Kevin Smardz.

I got news for you paridigm, if Jewett wins the primary you’ll
need a search party for Kowalski.

The Dems have done it again!

Selected a hard-nosed, silver spooned, Acura driving,
anti-laborite Lake Shore Bon Ton!

Ladies and/or gentlemen I give you the quintessential
DOA political candidate, Patricia Michalek!

Ford, what happens when the State IP makes the final call for endorsements? Will you leave the party?

My goal has always been and always will be, to have a full endorsement meeting of the full IP Hamburg Town Committee. Regardless of which side wins the endorsement, I believe with all my heart, that the only way our society can get out of this quagmire of shity, anti-growth politics is to get real “unaffiliated” people to decide on our leaders.

Allowing just a few people to control the overall political position of any party is dangerous and outright illegal. I completely understand the policies of the IP this year with such significant court battles going on. The party doesn’t wish to appear to be weak in the eyes of the judges and therefor have decided to have only a screening committee by the Officers of the County Executive Board.

The assigned boards for the final endorsements will include party members who have worked hard in that community. It’s my understanding that they will be given the reports of the screening committee and then the arguments will commence for which candidate gets endorsed.

If this method persists past this year then I will most likely leave the IP. I can be much more valuable to a major party and I would certainly have a lot less work and aggravation in the political arena.

I believe wholeheartedly that the IP is the battle ground for government reform. However, before we can be effective in that reform we must first free ourselves from the grasp of people who care more for their own gain then they care for the community. That is another reason why things are so tight with endorsing candidates this year. We don’t want major players from major parties manipulating the process through political plants placed in the IP for the sole purpose of party raiding.

Remember this always! Not one person on the current Erie County IP Executive Board has transferred plants into our party to raid it. That was done by Orsini, through the Demon-cratic party, over the last four years to try and maintain control. Now we have the opportunity to free it and we are doing our best.

If we could get people like Dennis Koziol, Mary Gaughan, and the Clabeaux’s to leave their alliances, with Orsini and the major parties behind and make peace with us, then we could actually be that driving force of reform that I am trying so desperately to obtain.

To be perfectly honest, if the IP could be free of outside influences, I would get out of politics completely and live life happily knowing I helped give our community the opportunity to regain prosperity once again.

Wouldn’t that be amazing!

I’ve got news for you Leon, Jewett will not win a primary. No one knows him in Hamburg and the people who do know him in Blasdell think he is a joke. One mention of the Tadoras incident and the swimming pool rumors and Dirty Ernie is dead in the water.

A tip of the hat to you Ford

My compliments to you Ford on keeping us voters informed; promoting transparancy in government; and exposing Democrat shenangans – Making our town a great place to live.

Thank you for taking a shillelagh to the antics of the Sorrentino-Hoak Cabal.

Ford hasn’t left the IP, the IP has left Ford!

No one is more dedicated to the founding
principles of the IP than Ford Beckwith.

I applaud him for standing up and fighting
for what’s right!

We need details on the swimming pool rumors with Mayor Jewett.

You know what is funny. One day Illuzzer says orsini has the power of the Jedi and then Gramigna says no way. Then the next day Gramigna says Orsini is in power again and Illuzzer says no way.

If anyone knew what is happening it should be me since I’m on the Erie County IP Executive Board. I’m telling you that the most Orsini and the State IP can do is create a primary and even that is in question right now.
