I think the readers of my site are very interested in this issue. I am probably the most read political website in Hamburg and I get thousands of page reads each week. I will post your response in its entirety as long as you use professional language and stick to the issue and not personal attacks.

Should local Volunteer Fire Departments be allowed to raise your fire taxes?

If you look at the 2008 Hamburg Town Budget you will see that several local Volunteer Fire Departments put in for and received significant fire tax increases. Woodlawn Fire District received a 13.5% increase and Big Tree got a 9.2% increase. Only Town Wide Fire District took a tax decrease this year,  at a negative .08%
