Well its been seven years since I had gotten my drivers license and its time to renew. Since I have a commercial drivers license with all the big endorsements I figured it would be pretty expensive and I was right.

Over the last week or so I have been taking estimates from contractors who are interested in building a back deck on my house. Since I am active in politics, I always seem to get to the political conversations especially if the contractor lives in Hamburg. We always end up with our “little talk”.

Erie County Independence Party makes 2009 Endorsements!

The Erie County IP finalized all the endorsements for Erie County and every Town this evening. It has been a lengthy process with a lot of interviews, but it’s finally over. The most notable endorsements were for Byron Brown and Sheriff Tim Howard. Both will retain IP support in this years election.

HMHA May Owe Hamburg Thousands!

Hamburg First has learned that the Hamburg Municipal Hockey Association may be in “hawk” to the Town of Hamburg to the tune of thousands of dollars. This revelation comes on the heals of the failed referendum and smacks of revenge for threatening the jobs of Recreation Department employees.

Frontier Listed as Average at Best by Business First Magazine!

There is a shocker! Frontier School District is listed as an average achievement school district by Business first magazine. They ranked at number 67 out of a shit load of local school systems.
